My husband had a serious stroke and fell about 4 in the morning. The stroke affected his right side and his vocal cords and was he unable to call for help. A few days into his hospitalization, he got himself tangled up in his blankets and his leg was hanging off the bed. His call button was on a table and he couldn't reach it. Nobody had checked on him for over 2 hours (he was able to see the clock). While he's in the hospital, he's wearing the alarm around his neck with the lanyards I purchased. It's very small but very loud. We promised each other that when we're alone, we'll wear one. This works for a sudden, albeit temporary solution.

I purchased this for my daughter at Christmas & she put it on her school tote strap and key chain right away. We tested the alarm, and it is super loud. I don’t know it this was just our experience, but I swear that alarm got louder the longer it stayed on. I really like that the light flashes when the alarm goes off but also can be used as a flashlight without alarm at anytime. Perfect when the porch lights are off & you need a light to find the keyhole. I also like that the alarm has a separate pull to activate (instead of the part you attach to keys or strap) so if you hook it on a strap or keys, they wouldn’t accidentally go off because someone pulled on device.

UpdateI’ve been contacted by the supplier and offered a full refund, but I’ve asked for half of it since only one module didn't work.I really appreciate that they contacted me to correct the situation.Thank you for the reminder, I totally forgot to return it!my order was a gift but I didn’t try so when its landed in my host hands she didn’t tell me that one wasn’t working!

I gave this a 5 star for the noise level because it's really loud. But that's the purpose. It comes battery powered and a simple pull on the lock part will trigger the alarm system. The only bad thing about this is that the flashlight doesn't stay on when you press it, you have to actually press and hold. This can be bad for some people because they may need their hands to do other things while having a flashlight stay on. Overall it's a nice product but there are better alternatives for cheaper.
