The harness on the car seat newborn adjusts easily from the front of the seat with a simple pull to securely fit your child. The buckle adjusts in two ways so that you can customize the length and the buckle’s position on your child. Your baby will be nice and comfortable relaxing in the soft fabrics and plush padding. On sunny days, the zippered mesh extension on the canopy offers additional shade, and lets you peek in on your little one without retracting the canopy. I like the style of it. It is pretty well padded. It doesn't have as nice of head support as my other brand of car seat, but this one is less expensive. I am using it as a second car seat for my husband's vehicle. It is easy to use and install.

This car seat is my favorite! I installed it very, very easily. Unlike simple car seats, it also provides the comfort that is crucial for babies. In terms of safety, it doesn't have any shortcomings, it's everything it should be. I can place it perfectly on my back seat, and it doesn't wobble. It's not too heavy; of course, it has some weight due to the durable materials used, but it doesn't bother me at all when carrying it. In fact, I quite like it.

I've been a fan of the Safety 1st car seats, and this one is no exception. I needed another car seat for my newest grandson, and this fit the bill perfectly. It has generous padding, is lightweight, and we found it easy to install in the car. He is 4 months, however with the padding, it could definitely be used for a newborn as well. It should serve him well until he is ready to face forward. Would absolutely purchase again.
