Most of the seat post shock models I've seen only do 190-200ibs, I needed a bit more but well under the 400lbs this style and build claims. Fortunately I can't test its capacity, but I can believe it is the case.My Ebike has a 33.9mm seat post, so my choices were limited and finding this type with a 33.9mm alloy sleeve was the winner. I also very much like the case that covers the mechanism, keeping dirt and other elements from messing it up.Helps me sit tall and sets the seat back a couple more inches to compensate for my height.Just all around the right purchase and origin from Taiwan, so bonus imo.

This unit is well built and you can tell it is sturdy due to the sheer heft of this unit which I saw as a bit of a drawback. If you count every ounce, this is probably not the one for you. It does great at taking a bit of shock out of the ride on a hardtail bike. Stay conscious of the space for the suspension apparatus as it limits how far you can slam your seat down, I took some measurements in the included photos for reference along with actually weighing it. It is easy to install, fits well, operates as expected and I love the adjustability. This is a good buy for the price if the size works for you and you don't mind adding a bit of weight to your bike.

Coupled with a Cloud 9 seat, jarring from bumps, cracks, etc have been eliminated. I know that there's movement in the suspension but I cannot feel it. It's easy to adjust and seems to be well-made. I'm using it on a comfort-style e-bike. It would have been nice if the instructions would have included where the original setting was or some sort of guidance, like a chart for riderweight

We have been using the stock post and seat. These seat post and seat are awesome and have us riding more miles per ebike ride!!

I used it to replace the suspension seat post on my Lectric XP3.0 Long Range ebike along with a Cloud 9 seat with center vent and also my wife's Aventon Pace 500.3 with the same setup. A big difference in riding comfort for both ebikes.
