Oh my gosh!! We bought these for our grandkids to build something with their Papa. They are just the right size. No hammering, everything was screwed in. The kids and Papa had a blast putting them together. The kids were so proud of their builds.

My son is seven and he absolutely loved these. He wanted to do them on his own without any help, which he did. He was very proud of himself for being able to complete them on his own. Think they were a good happy medium in between. Tough enough that it still gave him a challenge, but easy enough that he could do it on his own. The directions were quite easy for him to follow as well. I would definitely purchase again

These items are very cute, and are packaged carefully so the parts for each item are bagged together. The package says this set is appropriate for age 3+, but that only applies to playing with the finished truck, birdhouse, etc. Assembling them requires hands strong enough to screw in the dozen or so screws for which the holes are quite SMALL. My 7-year-old grandson wasn't strong enough to screw any of them in, so I did them all. Also, the stickers that add color to the finished item don't stay on.Update: The seller contacted me about this item, and provided a small refund. I changed my rating from 3 stars to 4 for the kindness of the seller.

Our 5 year old grandson loved putting these vehicles and birdhouse together. It did require adult supervision for reading instructions and giving hints, but he was able to use the enclosed screwdriver himself. It took him about 1-2 hours for each project.

With my grandsons — aged four and six — coming to visit, I ordered a number of kits that we could complete in the workshop. Some were fine, some were pretty junky, but this set of four projects stood head and shoulders above the rest. The kits are beautifully designed and the materials, mostly solid wood, are carefully cut, drilled and finished. I was struck by the countersinking for the screw heads (also making piece identification easier) and the rounded corners of the various pieces. Overall quality and thoughtful details (the helicopter kit includes a Lego-like pilot) make this an outstanding bargain and a pleasure to work with and to share with my grandchildren. (The tow truck was so beautifully made we couldn’t bear to use the included decals, as neat as they were.)

All though the product was well made ...was to be 3 different projects....we received 2 of house and 1 truck. Didn't complain cause kiddos enjoyed putting anything together just thought I'd let you know.

I bought this kit for my handicapped son. With assistance, he was able to build theses projects and felt very proud of his accomplishments. They were simple enough, and yet still made him feel “manly”using power tools (battery operated screwdriver). The only disappoint we had, was that there isn’t another kit with different items to build. We’d buy them all if there was!!
