This is a great grinder. It’s compact yet powerful. It requires a little bit of assembly. The images in the manual are blurred and hard to read, but it’s pretty straightforward to put them together. Note that the plastic cap for attaching the handheld tool has a left-handed thread, so turn it counter-clockwise to tighten it.

This is a great little grinder for smaller jobs. I really love having the hand held tool for detail work.

For some applications around the shop, a small diameter grinding wheel is better. Putting a proper grind on a screwdriver, for instance. The detachable flex shaft also adds some versatility to this unit. The wheel diameter should be greater than the motor diameter and on this grinder it is. The variable speed motor also increases the versatility of this grinder. The overall quality of this unit is above average. I will be using this tool to help me in my clock repair activities and it will fill a gap I have had in my equipment lineup.

General use:This mini grinder and polisher has so many potential uses. It's smaller and more lightweight so you can position it in a variety of locations. While it's running it's fairly quiet and the fact that you can adjust the speed helps with that also. I could adjust how close the plate you would rest something you're working on to be fairly close to the spinning wheels which would seem critical for jewelry or other small pieces of metal you're working with. The spinning grinding stone is of a finer texture which makes this ideal for more delicate applications. The plastic shields cover the area very well and the way the plastic shield connects to a metal attachment that can get closer to the stone also adds to the flexibility. I think being able to adjust the speed with the dial is probably one of my favorite features. You just need to keep in mind that you can overload the motor slightly if you push too hard if you're using a slower speed.Rotary attachment:The cable that attaches to the side allows you to connect a slew of attachments for high-rpm use cases similar to a high-speed rotary tool and it comes with virtually all the typical attachments a high-speed rotary tool would use as well. You can also detach the cable for the rotary attachments as needed just by unscrewing the sleeve that holds it in place.

This mini bench grinder delivers good power and impressive versatility for its compact size. The motor runs smoothly, providing consistent performance even during tasks like grinding metal edges or sharpening tools. The dual grinding wheels effectively cover most of my needs. I’ve used it primarily for sharpening, buffing, and light polishing, and it performs well in all these areas. The rotary tool attachment is particularly useful for detailed tasks such as engraving, polishing intricate surfaces, or working on awkwardly shaped items. The variable speed control is a standout feature, allowing me to easily switch between high RPM for cutting and lower speeds for delicate work, which makes it very user-friendly. The included accessory kit provides a wide range of attachments for different applications, though some pieces seem better suited for occasional use rather than frequent tasks. While the safety shields offer good protection, they can sometimes obstruct visibility at certain angles. The price is a bit high, but overall, this compact grinder is powerful enough for light-duty work and versatile enough for a variety of small projects.

This is a 3 inch. It is intended for small tools. As others have stated, it is unfit for larger tools as it will bog down. It is not powered for larger tools. The unit has suction feet that work well on a non porous bench top.The support in front of each wheel will go in and out but it will not tilt. Therefore you have nothing more than a simple angled rest. You do not have an actual support plate. Depending on your angle, your tool will rest on the support edge only.The instructions, like many things coming out of China, are horrible. You can easily figure out how to assemble but you should not depend on the instructions to be useful.The rotary tool works well but as somebody stated earlier, the fastener s plastic and won’t last.The unit comes with a wide variety of rotary bits. Not a great blow mold case and the plastic case windows fall out, but there is a wide variety of bits.I intend to change the wheels to buffer wheels to clean rings and other jewelry. The rotary tool will also only be used for small parts. But this thing is too weak and basic for anything larger or more significant.I see it as overpriced for such basic function.

When I opened the box I thought it might be a sort of joke. This 'grinder' is so small it is like a Dremel Tool kit. I have a small wood shop in my home and had hoped that this grinder could be utilized for sharpening wood chisels and blades on wood planes. Well ... maybe.I have turned this on and inspected the nice assortment of tools included in the carrying case. It is very eye appealing and appears to be very utility in nature. My concern is that it would get too hot to do much grinding. To be frank it is a bit too wimpy for most of the things I had in mind for it to do.If I was a jewelry maker this might just be the ticket.I do have a Dremel tool sitting in my work area that I have never used. I bought it years ago because I've often heard how handy they are and versatile. Well, so some I suppose it is, but for my likes and needs this is woefully undersized and under-powered.Great looking tool kit and looks well made. It's just not the tool for the jobs I wanted it for.Two stars for me, but others may find it to be a five star product.
