She got this 2 years ago and all the strings are still attached the pick fell off but other than that I got for my now 5 year old and we have 4 kids so that says something.

We were so excited when we bought this for my daughter since both my older two kids have real guitars. My 4 year old was thrilled.. and it broke the same evening. It was trash within 12 hours. Lol

I did not expect this guitar to be of Gibson or Fender quality but the marketing said, "real tuning keys". So I thought my 5 year old niece might be able to plink, plink on it and get a few real notes. Maybe get a beginner's understanding. It was so low quality, I threw it in the garbage. It is nothing more than a non- functional toy.

So its was a little lighter than I thought it would be. Probably nit the best for a rough housing child but my niece loved it and cares for it well
