1.Power on one pair of earphone and connector at the same time within 1 meter.
2.Please do not power on multiple pairs of device at the same time.
Disconnect Constantly
Check the earphone and connector fully charged.It will automatically disconnect when the Earphone or connector out of power.
Battery Dies Way Too Fast
1.Check the earphone and connector fully charged before use.2.The use time of the headset and connecter is about 9-10H after full charged ( 2 hours )
Very Hard to Hear & No Sound

I am KO6CZD, general amateur radio operator. I have high expectations for my equipment.SummaryIn short, this unit has performed beyond expectation. It's durable, well-made and works as expected out of the box. Tired of dealing with radio microphone cables? Buy this product.Key Points1. ApplicationI use this device on HF and HT units all the time, especially for local nets and volunteer events. The device has functioned exactly as expected, no matter the application (HF, VHF/UHF on different radios). Simply attach the bluetooth dongle to your radio, attach the microphone to your shirt and ear, turn both devices on and they simply connect and work out of the box.2. BatteryI regularly volunteer for events that last from around 5am to 1-2pm, which is 8-9 hours. The device battery has lasted throughout the entirety of these events when mostly receiving, however when transmitting frequently over an extended period of time last many hours, expect the battery life to be a bit shorter. However, I am extremely pleased with the battery life for such as small, flexible bluetooth device. Bring a small battery with you, perhaps one you use to charge your phone with, and you'll be able to recharge both the bluetooth dongle and earpiece using the provided Type-C charging ports.3. Audio QualityThe weight of the ear piece is not significant at all and is what I'd consider to be light, especially when using the provided clips to attach to the lapel or neck of your shirt - you'll forget it's even there like I do. Using your radio volume knob, you can adjust the volume to be whatever level you desire. The audio quality is crystal clear depending on reception. Overall, I am extremely pleased with the overall audio quality of this device.4. Push to TalkThe push to talk works extremely well, and if you're using a repeater you will need give the device an extra second to connect before keying up, just to be sure, but no more than an extra second. People will not be able to distinguish whether you're talking directly on your HT or the bluetooth microphone, which is excellent.5. RangeI'd say 20 feet plus or minus depending on obstacles like walls, vehicles, etc, however this is still much more freedom than what an attached cabled microphone can provide.Overall, this unit has performed beyond expectation, which is why I use it all the time!* * * * *

This headset has worked out better than I expected. The mobility, Bluetooth connection & range and volume are all great.The in-ear piece itself could be made to better conform to an ear. The one that came with this unit is not entirely comfortable and pops out every once in a while.

I've been using this product for about a month for church security. I definitely prefer this over the wired version that I was using.Not being tethered to my radio is very helpful. It has audio prompts telling you when "Power On", "Power Off", "Connected", "Disconnected" and will also tell you when the battery is low. It fits comfortably inside the ear canal with 3 earbuds of different sizes to choose from. The earbuds have holes around the acoustic tubing so that you can hear and maintain situational awareness. When I do my "radio check", my team members indicate "Loud and clear". They don't respond that way to other radio checks, so, I may be mistaken, but I believe this unit to be clearer and louder than the wired version we are using.Here's what I think needs improvement:The PTT button is small, and is located on the side of the unit (unit is thin and wide), right next to the Power button. In a stressful situation, I could see the PTT button being hard to find, or the possibility of accidentally powering the unit off by mistake while trying to transmit.If Samcom would consider making the PTT button larger, and relocating it to the face of the unit where the "SAMCOM" print is currently located, this would be a major improvement to an already great product. Despite this issue, I would still highly recommend this unit!

I have a SAMCON Radio and purchased these earbuds to elimante the hassle of being physically connected to my radio. That part works real well. When the earbuds work correctly, they are great. However they only work part of the time. Sometimes I can recireve but not transmit. Sometimes I can transmit but not recieve. Sometime I can neither transmit or recieve. And sometimes thay work flawlessly. I can not find any support through SAMCON to resolve this issue.n If it wasnt foor this problem, I could give it a much higher rating.

I was really hoping that this would solve the issue of cords using a acoustic tube with my radio. By having the Bluetooth, you eliminate being tethered to cords. However even though it did work, the wound was more muffled then with other acoustic earpieces I have used in the past. I believe the issue is that the voice coil in the device is very tiny compared to others. I have returned this device, for this reason, hopefully this can be fixed in later versions.I did however find that Samcome has a Bluetooth that works on an earpiece, I am going to try that model.UPDATEI was contacted by SAMCOM support after posting my review. They were extremely helpful and offered to send me another unit. They are willing to work with me to resolve the issues that I encountered. The replacement unit worked perfectly, and the sound was clear. Their customer support is very high bar, and will continue to purchase items from SAMCOM.SAMCOME sent me a replacement surveillance earpiece. I didn't experience any distorted,or muffled sounds. The unit worked flawlessly, even in a noisy concert environment.The Bluetooth turns on and pairs within a second or two of turning on, and is bulletproof. I have never lost the Bluetooth connection once established. I can now highly recommended this unit.,I would not hesitate to purchase items from SAMCOME, as there support is above board. They responded immediately to my concerns and went above and beyond to insure my satisfaction. I would certainly order from them again, as they back their product.It is for this reason, i am changing my review to five stars.
