This 8-strand, solid braid throw line offers high strength for pulling down "hangers", low stretch for superior control, and outstanding abrasion resistance for increased durability. With this slick string and a weighted bag, I was quickly able to pull down medium-sizeddead tree branches that had been hung up and hazardous over my lawn! I watched a youtube video first: how to unwind it into a container first, how to swing it while visualizing the toss, and then see it sail right over the branch. It was strong enough to pull the branch down also. I wore my bike helmet and safety glasses.

I prefer heavier throw weights (14 & 16oz) for tree work (a perfect throw is counter productive if it won’t fall to ground). This heavier 2.2nm line seems smoother and far easier to handle than the 1.7mm version and lighter weights supplied by my employer. It’s less likely to break too.

The line has very little memory even brand new , gets even better once it’s broken in. My favorite throw line

I’m an arborist and Tree Climber. I climb trees four days a week multiple times each day for the past five years. I have used every different throw line under the sun and nothing compares to this exact string…the first I ever used originally. It is strong enough to hold my weight hanging on it if the beanbag gets stuck in the tree, yet smooth enough to not get all tangled in knots, causing us to lose time on the job. I will never buy another throw line except for this one. Pro tip: tie a bowline knot to create a 3” loop on both ends of your throw line, and then simply girth hitch it to the ring on your throw bag. Now you don’t have to tie or untie knots every time you need to throw your back into the tree.

I needed strong, thin, tough, and bright colored cordage for camping. This line fits that bill nicely. It works great for a rain fly ridge line or ties downs. It's cheap enough to be used a few times and then ditch if you need to. You can actually see this stuff when walking around camp. Sadly it's not reflective but it doesn't claim to be so no surprises there. It holds a knot very well and is easy to untie if needs be too. Good stuff.

I bought a tarp to go over my hammock. It came with really cheap guy lines which I didn't trust at all, so I bought roll of this Zing-It and replaced all of the guy lines. I also made a single ridgeline for hanging the tarp right over the hammock. I have to say, this rope is extremely strong. And it doesn't stretch all all. I have used other types of guy line, including paracord, and all of them will loosen over time. This Zing-It doesn't loosen at all. I love it.

Zingit 2.2 holds knots very well. A fixed loop can be tied at the end or in the middle with a simple overhand or double overhand knot! And it can be spliced, with correct tools. It even will hold slip and grip knots and hitches—like a prusik hitch, IF 5 or 6 wraps are used instead of three wraps. Extremely lightweight, durable, and does not soak up much rain water. It’s fantastic!

I decided to use this as my go-to cord for camping. I use it for my ridgeline on a 13 x 20 tarp with a couple of cam-locks and it never loses tension. I can hang and dry camping gear and still doesn't lose tension. It also holds up perfectly in the rain. I also use for all guyline/tiedowns and has proven to be exceptional. It also packs down super small compared to paracord. Probably the best camping accessory I've owned.
