Easy to assemble. The material is a bit less rigid than I expected, but I use it with the slots vertical and it works fine

This product is flimsy. Two pieces broke off as I was trying to assemble them. I was being very careful because I was afraid of what might happen, and yea, it happened. Perhaps Super Glue will fix it. Lesson learned. Read the reviews BEFORE you purchase!

These are really well built. The pieces are made from a plastic that is light weight and smooth surfaces but has a very solid foam core (though the foam is so dense its hard to tell its even foam). Really solid once assembled. Takes a bit of effort to get the tabs to fully fit in the slots (a good wack with the hand does the job, but be careful not to force it so much it splits out the area around the slot - tab can be sanded a bit to help). The inside pieces just slide in so you can leave some out if you need some higher openings and easily re-arrange later as needs change. Bought one to try out and immediately bought a second one.

I was really surprised at the material. It’s more like a really stiff foam. It’s thick enough it can support the paper I want to put in and it’s nice that you can customize the shelf spacing if you want some bigger. But both the top and bottom pieces cracked when I assembled it. I was not pushing hard enough that it should’ve cracked. It’ll do for organizing the paper like I want but it should not be $60. I would’ve expected a better quality item for that price.

This product would not be a good value at even 1/3 the current price. The instructions say you may need to use a hobby knife or sandpaper to change the shape of the tabs or slots, which should have been my first warning. The pieces are like a compressed paper board and they crack with even a medium amount of pressure. While putting it together, 4 of the slots busted before I got even three shelves installed. I will be returning this item and would caution anyone from buying it.
