Tried this stuff out and it works really well for handling dust and debris. Currently dealing with a lot of drywall dust, and this compound helped a lot. It prevents dust clouds and stops fine dust from slipping past the broom, making cleaning easier and keeping the floors cleaner.I’ve used it on both wood and concrete floors, and it really cuts down on dust particles in the air. This is especially helpful for me since I have asthma and allergies. It works great for cleaning up sawdust in the garage too, and I appreciate that it doesn’t leave a gritty residue.Overall, it’s overkill for everyday cleaning but perfect for really dusty areas. The 5 pound bucket lasts a long time, so it’s a good investment. It’s a great product that makes a noticeable difference in keeping the dust down.

This sweeping compound is so easy to use. You just sprinkle a little bit all around the area that needs swept. I tried some on our concrete garage floors and it was a much better experience than what I usually face. Most often, the dirt and dust gets kicked up into a big cloud of nastiness every time we sweep the garage. However, using this sweeping compound drastically cut down on the dust particulates floating in the air. I have asthma and allergies, so anything I can do to help keep the dust down while tackling the sweeping job is fantastic for me. I think this product did really well, and I was surprised by how little of the compound I had to use on a relatively large area. So, this 5.2 pound bucket should last us a long while.

I saw this recommended in some construction shows so I had to give it a try.And boy, this works really well. Sprinkle it on and I can sweep away the fine dust without it flying in the air. Great solution.

I'd never heard of a product like this and had my doubts, but I was pleasantly surprised.I do a number of different projects in my garage and I can never get it clean, but this definitely helped knock out a lot of the little debris that usually just flies around.This will be on my reorder list once I'm out.

I'm in the middle of renovating my home, so it seems like there is drywall dust everywhere. I have never used this stuff before, so i was curious to see how well it'd work.The two things it seems to do really well are:1) No dust clouds as you sweep2) No fine dust making it past your broom bristlesThis doesn't seem to make the floors cleaner, per se-- that is, it's not magic--- but the fact that it can latch on to the really fine dust and keep down the dust clouds does keep the floors cleaner. In addition, it seems to grab the fine dust as not let it sneak past-- no more dusty streaks behind your broom.Overall, I think this is overkill for every day cleaning, but is a great addition if you're cleaning up really dusty areas (like sweeping after sanding drywall). It's simple to use and makes a noticeable difference.

I learned about the magic of sweeping compound when I worked construction summers in college. it makes such a difference when you're dealing with dry dusty messes like drywall dust, i'm glad to have this.

Review for Sans Sand Gritless Sweeping Compound. (5.2 lbs)I've never used a compound like this on my wood floors, but I was surprised to see how well it works. I always sweep my wood floors before I hard mop, and dust particles are the problem. With this compound it helps to keep the particles from swirling around, and leaves the floor cleaner and ready for a final mop and shine.
