It didn't fit right, had to grind on pickgaurd to make it fit. I bought 2 of these and they both have scratches on them right out of the bag.

The fit is wrong, and the switch was faulty. Decent quality parts otherwise, pretty good price, just kind of a gamble on the quality you're getting. P90

The measurements on this control plate are incorrect and the other problem is that the 500 ohm pots are the small pots. It’s probably OK for a first time telecaster guitar builder, that is building his own guitar. But if you try to fit this on an already built telecaster guitar it will not fit unless you want to grind out your Pic guard to make it fit. Or if you’re on a tight budget. if you’re looking for high-end, this is not it.

Replaced Glarry electrics with this....a 100% world of clarity and tonal difference. The capacitor and pots makes all the difference. A must buy of you've purchased a -100$ tl stlye guitar.

This took about 2 hours to do the replacement from start to finish. I am happy. But and it's a big BUT remember these are small diameter potentiometers. If you do not have good electronic soldering skills you need a different unit with the big pots. Also the wiring diagram on the ad is impossible to read.

showed up in descent time, and in good condition. The tone pot had to be adjusted and it fell right into place. I mention the adjustment so any new guitarist can know that changes can be made, so don't fret none, lol.

If soldering is not your forte, this is a great alternative when installing into a Tele-style kit or as a replacement in current guitar. The only soldering needed is the two hot wires for the Pups and the ground wires. The input jack is wired and only needs a cover plate to install.I built a Telecaster from a kit, but replaced the control panel that came with it because of the soldering required. Saved me much cussing and time on the build.

This is a decent switch and setup at a decent price - just know that both pots are linear taper (at least the one I got). That works ok for the tone control but is a problem for the volume. If you are at all handy with a soldering iron, I recommend getting a Kaish switch and some music lilly pots and you will be further ahead for just slightly more dough

Easy to install. I was able to paint it flat black and the paint stayed on. The switch seemed ver solid but the soldering was a bit flimsy. I had to resolve one wire that came off with little effort.
