One of the boards was warped. I didn't notice it until the return by date had passed due to me having surgery. My husband and I tried to flatten it, but it did not work. Now I have to replace a board if I want to use this product. I would not recommend this product.

The item is great except one part. You will need to put it on something rubbery so the bottom part of the screws don’t move when you tighten it. Putting it together is super easy and it works great once you have it on something that makes sure the bottom part of the screws do not move.

My husband had hinted he wanted this. We were unsure of how well it'd work. However it works as well as the expensive ones he's seen. He's used it so many times for projects that he was working on for craft work. Happy customer and husband was happy and still is very happy with it.

Got this and it broke within the first week of use. It is a very simple solution you could put together at home depot, but comes exactly as described. My only callout here is that the wood used is a directionally glued composite, as such, when pressure is applied along the short access, it is liable to crack, like mine did. I just ended up drilling out holes on another non-composite piece of wood and it was able to take a lot more pressure effectively. In this capacity, you are basically just buying screws for too much.

The first time I used it to flatten some watercolor paper. The top board cracked in multiple places. It is totally unusable.

I had one of these in the past but lost it in a move. I like that it is constructed with bamboo, making it eco friendly as well as it being sturdy. I'll be using it for my handcrafted books and in addition pressed flowers and handcrafted paper. Works with books up to about 2-3 inches in height. Excellent investment.

I tried to use this to rebind a book for a christmas present, and it snapped as soon as it was put under pressure. That's what I get for cheaping out, I guess.
