I was looking for glass ear studs because I needed comfortable earrings that I wouldn't have to fuss over often. I've tried silicone ones, and while they are good, they require more frequent replacement. The metal ones were irritating if I wore them for too long or just too plain-looking. When I found these, I decided to give them a try, and I'm very happy with my purchase. If you're also looking for the right size for an earpiece, go with the 20G (0.8mm).

I use this as a labret piercing blank. It stays in place pretty well, I do not use the retainer ring. Whether I use the retainer ring on the outside or not, I've got to be very careful while I'm eating as it pulls through easily.Overall I'm very happy with the product, I have a 14 gauge, this fits there very well. It's not too long, and it's not very noticeable at work, where I am not supposed to have piercings.
