I bought these for my partner. He needed new work shoes. He says he loves them. They fit perfectly. They relieve his back pain. He's on his feet all day, walking a lot on concrete. I remembered this brand from back when I once worked retail and factory jobs. They're so awesome for jobs that require being on your feet all day.

As someone who has arthritis in my feet from injury and years of athletics, finding comfortable shoes with the right amount of sturdiness is difficult. I've bought shoes sight unseen (I probably shouldn't) and often am disappointed - not with these! The color and style is exactly as pictured. The fit is perfect for my foot, tight in the right spots, just loose enough in the toe box, and the sole's traction is perfect for walking in the city or on trails. I even did well with them on snow and ice this winter. Definitely a rebuy for me.

Well, I had the Excursion TR 14, a couple 15's and now this 16,,,,, what else can I say ? An outstanding and consistent trail running shoe from Saucony ! I prefer wide shoes and this model, in regular size, is very comfortable, I don't have to buy wide. Also, after recently turning 50, I sized up from 10,5 to 11. Some say that over time, runners feet grow like half a number every 10 years or so.

Good shoe for trails/hiking/light running. I've had multiple versions of this shoe, always very light weight with sturdy heel support. Usually only lasts sor the summer camp season. This set of TR16, the sole started peeling back at the toe on both shoes after 20 days. Sent a pic to Saucony and they provided a coupon code for a new set. They don't hold up like a Merrill hiking shoe even though they may look similar. The TR16 is very light weight and runs cool, dries quickly too.

I bought these to do the Half Dome hike in Yosemite and I was particularly concerned about grip/traction + comfort given the challenging nature of the hike. These shoes were everything I could have asked for: comfort level was great (I got half a size up) and did not need to be broken in at all. I also never felt unconfident in the grip at any point of the hike. I will say that the padding in the sole isn't super thick so on the way down I was able to feel the rocks relatively sharply and I thought that my feet would hurt once the hike was over. Luckily this was not the case though, so I think these shoes have a decent amount of support as well even if it may not feel like that in the moment. Given the price point I think it's definitely a no-brainer to get these!

My husband is on his feet all day. We bought these shoes because we figured that since they are made for runners, they would be good for someone who is on his feet all day. Additionally, since is summer, he needed the shoes to be made of breathable material. He is very difficult to shop for and usually has one complain or another however miniscule but he hasn’t had anything negative to say about these sneakers. His feet are starting to feel better. The soles have a strong grip and the inside has good arch support. He has very wide feet so we ordered the 12 Wide and they fit him perfectly. Sometimes he has to order a size up to get shoes to fit him right but not with these. An added bonus was that the color and design were a nice change from the same humdrum styles he has to get in order to find something that fits. He’s very pleased.

I bought these shoes for light hiking and trail walking. They may be a bit firm for some people but after a short break-in period the shoes are quite comfortable. Very good grip and traction.

Purchase: I bought this pair of shoes because I needed shoes for my trip to Pinnacles National Park and I knew that they have rocky and steep trails. I used to be an avid runner and have used Saucony products for quite a bit and have never been let down so it was a safe choice. When ordering the color options are good but more importantly the size chart offered was accurate to the actual shoe. Overall Purchasing Experience: 9/10Unboxing: It was a straight forward unboxing process, they were properly secured as expected and there were no weird smells as some companies have when purchasing new shoes. Overall Unboxing Experience: 10/10Usage: Upon first putting on the shoes they fit quite well, the shoes felt sturdy yet flexible, the laces felt nice, and there wasn't any pinching around the top of my foot as some new shoes do before breaking in. Another plus side is the fact that even before breaking in the shoes, they were still very comfortable through the hikes I did, specifically High Peaks in Pinnacles which is a strenuous hike so kudos to the shoes, after the shoe does break in it only elevates the comfortablility. After all these 4+ hour hikes, there was no pain in toes, ankle, arch, or palm of my foot. The grip was great as well as climbing through rocks felt secure ans sticky (in a good way). I am extremely impressed with the shoe's comfort and grip and will buy a new pair after these fail. Overall Usage Experience: 10/10
