This plastic sausage stuffer seems well built, for a plastic item. I can’t comment on how this plastic sausage stuffer performs, as I needed a tip with a 1cm outside diameter. The advertised dimensions state that there is a tip of 1cm, and since the listing was unclear whether there advertised dimensions were referring to outside dimensions or the inside dimensions. I assumed based on the picture that the dimensions were referring to the outside dimensions. It turns out the dimensions are referring to the inside dimension, making smallest tip 2mm too large for my use.I can never recommend using a plastic sausage stuffer for food. As stainless is just a little more money, a lot more sanitary, and would last a lot longer. With that said, the seals in this plastic stuffer seem good, the screws screw, and the plastic is thick enough to not easily deform.

I was hoping this stuffier is just push like a syringe that you push on the end to push the stuffing into the casing.No, nothing like that, the end piece it is like cork screw that you have to keep turning in order to push the casing forward. This is not only very labor consuming but pretty much requires three hands to operate.I have only two hands and so holding the casing and progressing the process while holding the side handle and then screwing at the same time.. not possible at least in my case.It is very hard to use and I am going to return it and get the one that just pushes the back part and not screw on.If you are desperate to use this one and want a hack you can just remove the part that screws the back to the loading part and use the pump itself to push the content however it will be wobbly and flimsybut it will work. I am not going to do that but just saying if you got it and have some amount it will be much easier and faster then using the screw turn method that it requires. I would say it will take forever that way to stuff five pounds sausage.
