This shift gate is a must have. You can know exactly what gear you're in without ever having to look down if your in a tricky situation and need to change gears. Install isn't to bad either, but you have take off your center console top.

It’s great much easer than the factory’s . A little harder to install than I thought it was going to be I have a four seater just go ahead and pull both passenger front and rear seat out and it’s no problem after that

Fairly easy install. Changing the shift gate is almost a no brainer. This looks great. There is a small gap, but no biggie to me. Very well made.

I was worried that this wouldn't fit right or work well, but I was mistaken. Yes, there may be a little bit of a gap between the plate and the center console plastic, but not noticeable. Because the stick is not "locked" into any given spot (except PARK), I was worried it may 'pop' out of gear, but after going on some pretty rough road recently, I didn't have any issues with it sticking in H or L.Warning to X3 MAX owners (four seaters) . . . you have to remove the center console plastics all the way back to the rear seats due to the way the rear section overlaps the front section. It's a pain, especially to access a few of the bolts under the rear section, but with patience, it's doable.I'm happy with the way it works so far.
