I guess I didn’t read the full description. The fileholders are attached to each other. Assembly is required. It wasn’t easy to put together. The plastic is kind of flimsy.

Product had broken pieces as the plastic was very flimsy. Pieces were hard to assemble. I was using for light weight projects so I am able to use it but would not recommend.

I wanted to use it as a vertical book holder to put on top of my dresser since I couldn't find any others at reasonable prices (to save space). But, it's 12in both ways, so it doesn't matter. Actually, 12in one way, 12.5 inches the other.The directions are easy to follow & assemble. Just slide each piece into the slots. Not the sturdiest, but as long as you keep it on top of a desk or shelf, you'll have no problems. I recommend.Drink water, watch your surroundings, and take care of your mental health. Easy to put together, sturdy, but make sure all end points aligned firmly before proceeding to the next step, otherwise a bit of a pain to reverse engineer. Bought 2.

Artikel riecht sehr unangenehm nach Chemie, hab es bis jetzt auf dem Balkon auslüften lassen, aber der Geruch ist immernoch da. Das vorherige Modell roch gar nicht. Hab es zum unterbringen der Schulsachen meines Sohnes.

I am pleasantly surprised by this piece. I previously ordered magazine holders which fell apart every time you moved them but this looked promising as the base was wider. Assembly was simple and all pieces fit exactly (which is essential to remember to avoid frustration). I didn’t like the labels that came with the product and made my own which is not a fault of the item. It fits perfectly in my office space and is a good value for the price. I use it to hold loose papers, folders and the occasional paperback. It’s been in place less than a month so I can’t comment on durability but it is quite sturdy.

It's a tad bigger than I thought it was going to be but that's okay. MORE ROOM FOR MY BOOKS! I love it. Now I can divide up my books on my desk between, study books, sketchbooks, work books, etc. It even comes with these retro labels for the front.I will say that the visuals for the instructions were a tiny bit off as the back piece needed the big retrangled holes in the base to snap into but in the little booklet, it has you put those holes in the front. In short, just take your time with setting it up.
