This is my 3rd Schecter guitar. I’ve purchased more expensive models, the Blackjack and the Reaper, but I bought this one to tool around with for travel. For the price, it is a pretty good buy. Although I am used to the Duncan pickups, the Schecter ones on this model are just fine. Sliding and the virbato are silky. These are a little on the heavier side for guitars, but the craftsmanship is beautiful. If you play more rock or metal, this is will work well.

Unfortunately guitar came damaged. Looks like it happened at factory as there was no loose paint in the packaging. Returning today. It is a nice looking guitar otherwise.

This guitar is absolutely beautiful. Everything about it looks and feels like quality. But I had to order a replacement as mine had a sliver missing from the fret board. Also the guitar doesn’t seem to have been setup from the factory what so ever. Neck was way too straight. Maybe this is intentional for shipping. I don’t know but I hope my replacement has no issues because I love the guitar

so i'm about a year in with this guitar and i still very much love it for the price point. sounds better than my other budget guitar and more importantly stays in tune and seems to have much better hardware. the fit and finish are great for the price. i really don't have anything bad to say about this thing for the price it's a great starter guitar that won't break the bank.

I can't believe they even shipped this guitar out. It was in my hands for 2 minutes and I knew something was wrong. Tuned it up tried to play it and out of tune up and down the neck. Sounded horrible!!! Sticker on back of guitar said set up ready to play...joke! So I took to a guitar tech to have it looked at and was told the bridge was not set right and should be sent back. Major intonation problems. Really wanted to keep it but... unplayable! Can't believe Pro Audio would even ship something out to a customer without even checking it out first. Very unprofessional!

I have to say I am extremely satisfied with the Quality and Tone of this Guitar. I own several Guitars, 2 G&L, 1 Gibson Les Paul and one Fender Strat. I must say this guitar is comparable to my $2000 Gibson. ACtion was a bit high but adjusting the Bridge and retuning did the trick. Pickups are HOT!! They sound incredible and the sustain is unheard of for a guitar in this price range I heard a lot of good things regarding Schecter Guitars and now I'm a believer. Oh and the top is gorgeous...One thing I did not like was that it wasn't double boxed. However, it did make it in one piece!!!

5/3/16Amazon was great, as usual, about helping with the issue (mentioned below). They sent a replacement guitar before I even got to ship the original back to them. The new guitar arrived and was as beautiful as the first, but this time there was no deal-killing intonation issue. I immediately tested the intonation, and this time only 3 were out of intonation by 5-8 cents at the 12th fret (before, all 6 had been, with one out of the range of being fixable). I spent about 30 minutes or so turning screws and checking intonation. All good now. I think she's a keeper. Updating to 5 stars.5/2/16I initially ordered this item about two weeks ago. It is a beautiful, light guitar and the tone was excellent for a $300 guitar. However, it arrived with an intonation problem that could not be fixed (the low E string was 30 cents sharp at the 12th fret, and after adjusting the saddle as far back as it could go, it was still 12 cents sharp).Amazon has sent me another guitar, and I will update the review once I have played the replacement and tested it for intonation issues. That said, I am a huge Schecter fan and I suspect my problem was a one-off and will not be systemic. The finish on these guitars is beautiful, and as long as there is no intonation issue with the replacement, this original 2-star review will become a 5.
