Love my handheld steamer! Makes cleaning the smaller things a breeze. I also have the 7 in 1 mop. Never again will I purchase harsh chemical cleaners for my house.

We have built a new house recently. My windows were filthy from caulk, paint, and dirt. This worked great at getting them spic and span! I’m sure I will find other great uses for this as well! See before and after pics! Do note though, temperature is SUPER HOT and can melt or warp plastic - especially when using the tiny scrubbing attachment.

The product works. My only complaint is the max amount of water it holds. You’re constantly refilling the tank and have to wait at least 5 minutes for it to cool down to refill the tank. For small projects it would work okay. But if you’re cleaning medium to large amount of spaces then it’s going to be a process unfortunately.

This steamer is easy to clean with and is easy to use once you get the hang of it!

The Schenley portable handheld steam cleaner arrived in a well packed, branded box. All listed parts were included, and the user manual is clear. The steamer looked and felt solid / well built. The cord length is generous: roughly 11’ 3”.I used distilled water, as recommended. It was easy to add the right amount since a measuring cup is included. Filling the cup a bit below the pour spout (twice) was just below the maximum 11.8 ounces. (The manual warns not to go over, so I went a little under). The entrance to the water tank has a gradual slope that will hold a bit of water if you pour too fast; it’s a good design. The safety cap attached solidly and was easy to remove. All the attachments were easy to add to the steam outlet, but you do need to align them and push firmly. The glass squeegee is the only one that must attach to another attachment (the fabric head without a white fabric sleeve). If you want an attachment to face a certain direction you’ll need to attach it in that direction; it won’t move once attached. The plastic attachments do get warm with use, so you may want to give it a moment before removing one for another. I don’t know if replacement attachments are available.Plugging the cleaner in starts the heating process; there’s no “on/off” switch. The lighting indicator turns on and after a few seconds you’ll hear the water heating up. It took 3 to 4 minutes for the indicator to turn off, which means the unit was ready to be used. During a cleaning session the light came on several times for a few seconds when the water needed heating up.There is an obvious child safety button on the outside part of the handle that must be pressed along with the steam trigger to start the steam. Once started, just the steam trigger must be continually pressed. I cleaned with the steam in shorter bursts so I could wipe things up, but I didn’t find having to press the steam trigger an issue. Both buttons worked well. This is the first steam cleaner I’ve used, but I was impressed. The concentrated, high pressure steam easily accessed narrow crevices and loosened or blasted away any dirt/buildup. It’s pretty powerful. The water in the tank lasted a lot longer than I thought it would, but if you want to refill you’ll need to let the unit cool for at least 15 minutes.I don’t think this is something I’ll use on a weekly basis, but I will be pulling it out whenever deeper cleaning needs to be done as our stove, toaster oven, and patio door track haven’t been this clean for a while. I’ve used this steamer three times and find myself looking for more things to clean. I can’t speak to longevity, but this felt like a solidly built unit that was designed well.. Made in China.

I ordered this specifically for steam cleaning upholstery because I have a Great Dane that drools on everything. It was easy to fill and heated up fairly fast. I used the cloth sock over the steamer and, with just a few swipes, it looked really good and I felt like the steam would kill any germs. I could also see on the white cloth that it removed quite a bit of dirt. I have a lot of other cleaning projects to tackle but I got side-tracked by some wrinkles in a large floral art piece. I thought it was worth a shot and it worked really well. I know this isn't it's intended use but with just a few shots of steam, I was able to smooth all the problem areas. The only downside I have found is the weight, after using it for a few minutes it started to feel very heavy. It's not a problem, just worth mentioning.

Since I have this steam cleaner, cleaning has become much easier. First, the steam cleaner is so light-weighted that I can take easily take it to anywhere I need to clean. Second, I no longer use chemical detergents and save the cost of the detergent. I like to use the steam cleaner to clean window sills, especially when cleaning blinds. I don’t have to take blinds down to clean anymore. 10/10 recommend!
