I learned that 2015 models could possibly have two different style OEM compressors. This kit is perfect for the early 2015's but the later 2015's it will not work. If you have the DCS171C compressor with the triangle in the middle, then it's most likely the DSC171C. Don't be like me and tear down the compressor all the way to the coil just discover it doesn't have 3 screws LOL.Granted I didn't know this before purchasing. Even though I couldn't install it, The components look very well built, sturdy construction and well packed. Included the screws and clips. I'm confident it would have worked perfectly it I could have installed it. I'm going to give it 5 stars (it's not it's fault that Nissan decided to switch compressors mid-year)

Hopefully you can see in the first picture that the red and black wires were pinched on arrival. The second picture shows the bag that should have had three screw and clutch shims. Lucky I received the snap ring I guess. The third picture shows the connector that was wired backwards. If it wasn’t for the pinched wires I would not have saw this and upon connecting it would have blown the diode. I would never buy from this seller again.

Arrived quickly. Installed this weekend. Impact on 3 Philips on inside made it a breeze. Need a pulley puller. Needed original washers and 2 that came with new one to properly space out the clutch on the inside. So far so good!

This product fixed my ac! BUT you need to buy a 1/4 inch washer to increase the spacing. The aftermarket parts are built different from the oem ones and don’t have the proper clearance. I used the 2 supplies spacers and the 2 factory spacers and it still wasn’t enough. I got 1/4 inch washers and used 2 of the provided spacers and it worked great!

The interior dimensions of the splines on the clutch plate DID NOT fit on the shaft of the (stock original) compressor. I might have been able to force it on using much greater effort than what was used to push on the pulley; but then that would defeat the pulley's function since it's supposed to move on the shaft to engage and disengage. So I had to put my old pulley and clutch plate back on over the new coil. That got me up and running again, and I really don't feel like going through that whole repair again if it's working for now. But that leaves me running on parts that are 100k miles worn, despite having paid for new ones that couldn't be installed. If/when I have to replace it again, I will NOT be purchasing from SCITOO.

I installed this in a 2014 Pathfinder in about an hour. Ice cold AC again. Now it’s August and the part has failed. It says a 1 year warranty but I don’t see where to get a replacement so I’m hoping SCITOO reads this.

Product quality overall appeared decent and the fitment was bang on but the power connector was faulty. I suppose I should have checked the item prior to getting it in place but simple manufacturing quality control should have caught this instead of making it out to a customer. This ended up stretching out the total repair time (took 6 hours instead of the anticipated 1 hour - due to troubleshooting and removing the part - what a pain!) I had to use the donor connector from the OEM part to get it going. It should also be noted that the spacers provided are insufficient as they do not leave sufficient gap. I had to use the spacers from the original part plus the ones provided with this purchase to get it to meet the specs. As for the bearings... The quality appears to be good with no play and the pulley lines up and fits perfectly. One key thing I noticed while reading the feedback from others is that there are noises - This is generally due to improper seating of the unit - very easy to get this wrong. Once installed properly, the pulley should spin freely by hand (prior to the serpentine belt installation). If there is any resistance (there should not be any resistance when the clutch is not engaged), you can rest assured, that the noise will be apparent + premature failure of the bearings or chewing up of the serpentine belt will occur.- Just putting my 2 cents in here for the weekend mechanics.

Firstly, just in case some of you may not know this on any newer push button start vehicle you can do a quick self diagnostic procedure to confirm it's a faulty ac clutch. With the door open, press the push to start button 5 times (foot NOT on the brake pedal so you dont actually start it), followed by 10 pushes of your door close switch (on the pillar), followed by 3 push to start button presses. You' ll hear a beep. The self diagnostic first checks wipers, then lights etc, and then a/c clutch for proper relay and clutch operation. If you don't hear loud-ish clicks on the a/c clutch side then this is most likely your problem. The coil can also be checked with an ohm meter (should read around 4 to 5 ohms) if you have the ability to access the ac clutch coil plug which is a little tricky. Now for the kit itself. Quite simple to install, all parts fit perfectly and seem well built. Maybe a bit more play on the splines than I'd like but it's working perfect. I did reuse factory main bolt as I personally don't trust offshore bolts no matter what they are stamped with. As far as shimming, your gap should be no more than 0.6mm or about 0.025" max. You can check this with feeler gauges between the pulley and pressure plate from the side once bolted down. Just like other reviewers noted, I did have to reuse the original shims plus the ones provided to give me a gap of 0.015" without any drag or unintended contact. Once you have it all assembled, do the diagnostics I mentioned earlier to ensure you solved the problem before starting the car.The pulley swaged in bearing, although not made in Japan like the original, was ultra smooth and seemed very good quality. I'm hoping this repair lasts for many years but this is a relatively simple procedure if I have to do it again. Hope this helps!

The product works great. This was used on a 2010 murano LE and the only issue I noticed was that I had to use the shims that came with it and the old shims, plus one shim that I made myself out of a washer. When a product says exact fit, this means you should not have to make any alterations or additions to get it to fit. This could be Amazon's fault or the sellers, im leaning towards amazons.
