Retention bands for the boots were loose apon arrival I should have just sent it back then. I replaced the bands installed the axle and it was loose in transmission test rode the ATV and get a chatter in the rear. Removed the axle and measured the splines comparing to original OEM Polaris axle splines these are definitely under size. Measured with micrometer and pins or what us machinist call thread wires. Also tried to remove the outer CV joint and dose not come apart like a Polaris CV joint the inner CV joint comes apart to replace CV boots.

This was installed on a 2005 Polaris Sportsman 400, after a breif ride, 15 minutes, the boot had came off, grease everywhere and it was poping and cracking worse than the one I had replaced it with. Keep scrolling for something better, whatever you get won't be as bad as this

Went in smoothly on 2003 Polaris Sportsman 400. Watched couple of youtube videos for the install and worked great. Get a couple of small breaker bars to pry on the old one to pop it out. That was the toughest part, then getting this new one in was very easy.

I've had these axles just a few months, the boots of one of the axles already has a hole on it. It is not from a puncture, it is from poor quality in the manufacturing of the booth.
