The good: What's to say about a new product that doesn't look like track lighting and adds an element of class to your ceilings? These lights look great. The magnets work. The end result is beautiful and interesting.***Some lights DIM some lights do not. ***The bad: there are so many options that navigating my complex install is not for the average DIY individual.First, 24v or 48v, I got shipped 24v when I specified 48v on my order. You can't just plug and play here, the voltages have to be the same from driver to lamp. Dimming? Who makes lights that dont dim? Apparently, SCON, because I got several boxes of lights that don't dim so be sure to check the box before you unpack because nothing about the light is printed on the unit.Dimming? Triac, SUP, wireless, yes, these are all options in the various lights and no, they're not compatible. Scon doesn't make this easy. So again, make sure you buy exactly what it says because your light install will not work if you buy different lights..The track mounting could be better, you can't really mount the track sideways on the wall under drywall, it's only really for drop ceilings. Additionally, there's tons of small parts and ways to make the track just the right height for lighting, but, it's overly complicated and required me to adjust each little nut and screw on the mounting brackets to make it work.Overall, it looks great. A major hassle in putting track together and getting it all to work. I didn't trust the little pins scon uses to join the track together. Plus, it seems SCON is slow on product delivery. The 48v cool rectangle lights I bought aren't even on the Amazon page anymore which makes adding lights problematic.Wish i could give more stars.
