for various projects, this monster gives high torque at very low RPM; combined with a VESC controller, you can use this to build all kinds of mechanical wonders. Have fun!

Hesitant to purchase a knockoff but works surprisingly well. There is no epoxy on the windings; so that's one thing to consider (you'll have to pull it apart and coat the windings) as water would just toast this motor. Also the leads do have billet connectors but the wire is not 12 guage, 16 if I had to guess. That being said for the price; great deal. Connected to a MakerX GO-FOC M100; restricted to 20 volt and 15 amp on a custom cnc'd E-trike. Using a 2-stage 10:1 reduction and it works great. You do have to assist on hills or you'll slow to a crawl (I'm sure the weight of the trike + rider and power restrictions are at play here). I've put over 100kms on it so far, only gets a little warm after several Km of running.
