Installation Process
WARNING: Before installing always make sure your firearm is unloaded and your muzzle is pointed towards a safe direction.
Option 1: (Optic Cover Only)
Step 1: Insert Optic Cover
Step 2: Snap interlock pins into the drain hole
Option 2: (Optic Cover + Lens Cover)
Step 1: Point your muzzle upwards and put the cover lens on top
Step 2: Insert optic cover while holding the lens in place
Step 3: Snap interlock pins into drain hole

I like this because of the option to have it covered or not pretty easily. I give it 3 stars because its fit is not the best and for the price I expected a better fit. It pops off sometimes. This is my 2nd one and does seem to fit a little better and the buttons function better with this one. I use this for practice and in matches, Helps target focus.

The cover fits the SRO perfectly. It protects the optic and also allows you to train. It helped me practice shooting with both eyes open.

The cover functions while in storage to protect the sight. On my application it obstructs the view of the dot just enough to require removal before use.

I had low expectations when ordering this cover. However, the quality of the material is above par in my opinion, and the fit on the actual optic it streamlined and non-intrusive. It will certainly provide a decent amount of cosmetic protection from bumps, scrapes, and spent cases flying out of the ejection port.I'm uncertain of how much, if any structural protection it will provide in a serious drop scenario. I assume it will provide at least some minimal blunt force absorption and diffusion effect, which is better than nothing in terms of slightly lowering the odds of breaking the optic's lens.I should note that I bought this to use as a minimally protective cover and have no use for the lens cover, thus I did not bother to test the lens cover.

I shoot with the window cover on (IYKYK).Red dot scope protective covers are crucial for safeguarding your optics. Look for durable materials like neoprene or polymer for impact resistance. Reliable options with flip-up or snap-on designs. It's a small investment for added protection and peace of mind on the field.

To all the people trashing the lens cover because you have to take off the main body of the sight cover to remove the lens cover....It is purposely designed that way. The lens cover is for those of us who like to have it on while shooting. It forces you to shoot target focused. One eye will see the dot and the other eye will see the target naturally. You don't need to see the target through the lens when you use both eyes. Another advantage is you don't have to turn the brightness up in bright sunlight because the dot is showing against the black background of the cover. Saves battery life and doesn't cause the dot to balloon or shine like a star. I really wish one of the companies would make a Red Dot sight with a blacked out lens so you don't have to add a cover. Until that happens this is the best you can get for the price. Since shooting with this cover on, I can acquire the dot on target much quicker when shooting at speed.
