I use this as my summer jacket. It’s not heavy and it’s breathable. It’s mesh so it isn’t waterproof and it will not keep you warm. Has spots for armor. Most importantly it comes in fat guy sizes. I’m 6ft and 350lbs. I haven’t used the “backpack” feature because I have panniers.

6'4" 370lbs. Fits great. Not for 100 degree sunny weather but lower 90s or hot nights. Perfect for flow while riding. Hot and heavy while at stand still at light etc.. price of safety.

Tried a LOT of jackets. Most plus sizes were oddly sized. This one has more length in the front. If you are a big guy, and are frustrated with all the terrible jackets on Amazon, get this one. Order one size bigger than your usual size or one size smaller than all the other weird jackets on Amazon. This Scorpion jacket is absolutely perfect. Plus it has a hideaway back pack that's totally cool. Not for everyday use, but amazingly perfect in a pinch.
