I thought these used to have tougher dots. They were more effective but scratched some surfaces, as I recall. The "improvement" is a good thing overall.

Great sponges these green sponges are tough and hold up well, I drink a glass of warm/hot water every morning and pour any leftover water on top of the sponges, sometimes I soak them in hot water with baking soda, not that I keep them for a long time but I prefer them to be nice and fresh.Am happy to find them in green rather than blue.I just added them to Amazons Subscribe & Save.

I'm glad I found these on Amazon for a better price than at my local stores. The size is perfect for everything that's related to kitchen clean-up duty. These tough and durable sponges keep my sink, cookware countertop and appliances clean without having to scrub extra hard. I really like how easy it is to hold the sponge. Product works well, without leaving an annoying smell.

The whole pack--6 sponges--lasted us about eight months. We used them mainly for cleaning dishes daily.The rough side scrubbed really well, better than the other brands we have used. When the sponge broke down, the rough layer would have pieces falling off, and would separate from the soft layer. Photos attached show the partially used web sponge on the left, alongside a dry and new sponge on the right.Overall, very functionally sponges. I would recommend. Only if they could last longer!

I like the sponge. They don’t get stained and full of food particles on the scrub side like most sponges do.
