Very Easy Installation. High performance equipment, easy to learn and simple to operate even single handed. Abundant , clever accessories can boost "quality of life" performance. Would have liked to see protective covers for digital depth readout included with purchase as lack of these will decrease longevity of readout visibility. I would definitely buy again and recommend to friends.

The high performance DR is a known issue at Scotty. Just go with the regular ones. These HP ones suck in my opinion.

The product itself speaks for itself. The box that it was dropped off in was completely destroyed and so was the cover. Now I have to pay another $70.00 to buy a replacement cover.

bought two of these beauties, sweet. they come with two releases. a swivel release and a stacker release so you can fish two depths on the same down rigger. the down rigger has a twist on plug and they also supply a recessed out let that has a rubber boot, it is small to the point, low profile and water proof when not in use. I tip my hat to Scotty, they certainly did not under design this BABY WOW LOVE IT and you will too. ps. I would recommend a12 lb. down rigger ball this baby can handle it no problem. the boom tips up and locks in place making it easy for you to handle too. good luck fishing

The product didn't come with the proper length screws to assemble it.I was trying to mount the rod holder to the hinge bracket and swivel stand that all came with the unit and the screws are about an inch too short..Since I'm in the middle of nowhere and on vacation this is pretty useless to me....Thanks for nothing

Best downriggers available period.......no question about it, they are awesome. I would buy them again in a second, but I'm sure I won't have to, they seem to be built to last a lifetime.
