I like the resolution of the screen and so far it works fine. The only thing that surprises me is the camera not working. But it’s okay because I don’t use the camera all the time. If you plan to buy this item and you need a camera, just make sure the camera is working before you buy.

First, this item was obviously refurbished (which wasn't clear in the write-up), after carefully installing (even using their hinge-method) it was obvious that the screen came damaged. Returning immediately. Hours of my time wasted!

Screen was easy to install. Must know what you are doing or pay “very close attention” to YT videos. This does not come with instructions or tools so do your research before buying. There is a slight difference in screen resolution from the original. Not much but still slightly. The keyboard lights up as normal and the front facing camera works the same as the original. I pray to the almighty I don’t have to replace another screen on my Mac but if I do I would buy this brand again.

I installed the screen, and the resolution was a bit off. However, I decided to give it a chance and see how it would work. It worked at first, but now, almost four months later, I cannot see my entire screen due to a portion (1/4) reflecting a black screen, and my laptop is useless. I will contact the seller to see if she/he is willing to remedy this situation.

This worked perfectly to replace the broken screen on my wife's MacBook. All aspects of the screen work as intended, with both the front facing camera and ambient light sensor behaving as normal. A couple of things to keep in mind if you're considering getting this:-This doesn't come with instructions on how to replace the screen. You'll want to follow an online guide for your MacBook. I highly recommend using iFixIt's guide as they do a very good job of documenting the process in an easy to follow way.-Despite what the product picture implies, this does NOT come with the tools needed to complete a screen replacement. You'll want to pick up a set of electronic repair tools. iFixIt has an excellent set available for $75, but your local hardware store will likely have a very similar set available at a cheaper price.With a good guide and proper tools, installation was very easy and only took about 45 minutes. Admittedly, I'm fairly comfortable working with electronics and attempting DIY repairs.
