I saw a video on YouTube where someone upgraded their 840 G1 monitor with a G3. I figured I’d give it a try. Following the steps from the video made the install quick and painless, and the results were outstanding. I previously had a 720p display where the colors were washed out and blacks were nonexistent. The new monitor is 1080p, colors are nice and rich, and black actually look black (not grey like my old screen). I’m very happy with my purchase.PS: Shipping was also quick and the monitor came in three layers of bubble wrap UPS sleeves and the box had a fragile label.

This screen has much better viewing angles and colors than the OEM TN panel I replaced, due to the replacement being an IPS panel. It was easy to replace as well. Would recommend!

While the shipping was really fast, and installation was quick and easy.. the screen did unfortunately have dead pixels on the lower half of the screen. i contacted the seller who said to send it back to get a warranty claim done. this is all acceptable, except that i had this screen shipped to me overseas...so sending it back would cost more than double what the screen costed in the first place. i will be buying another screen from a different company/brand to replace this one, as overall i am disappointed.

Its easy to give 5-stars when the sale goes right. But you truly get a sense of a company by how they respond to problems. I ordered a screen and either I ordered the wrong screen they shipped the wrong one. but after this was determined they immediately shipped a new one and sent a return for the initial screen. I've spoken to them a couple times and while talking to different people, they always knowledgeable and kind and solved my problems with no issues. Because of this, I am thinking about actually replacing the screens on some old laptops that I have because I know that I can trust these guys.
