Amazons AI is useless and keeps deleting my review.This is a great screen much brighter and smoother colors it looks like I'm using my HD tablet.I actually had fun installing it it was really easy old tools were supplied.It came very well packed bubble wrap inside a mail bag inside another mail bag nside another mail bag (3 bags) inside a box

Idk if all packages are OEM, but I received a OE screen that was direct plug and play, and seemed to be even better than the old one was. Kit includes the exact tools you need and the troubleshooting sheet helps alot. Definitely recommend for professionals or diy.

I've had my T480 for over a year and use it as a linux programming as well as personal laptop. I love this laptop and paired with the extended battery I havent needed another one. The one thing that has always been sub par was the screen. Working in coffee shops or well lit areas made using this laptop with its basic TN panel difficult to see. With this panel however, I love the visibility it has even in really bright settings. I used to have to change the theme of my coding environment just to be able to keep working. Very happy that I no longer need to do that and can happily use my beloved t480 for many years to come knowing I no longer have to compromise on anything I could get on a modern apple computer for my uses.

My screen has a yellow tint, i had a matte screen before and it was brighter, this one has a yellow tint to it.

Before you order, make sure it is the exact screen you have. I was tempted to go for a higher resolution because my touch screen is 40 pin, but 40 pin touch and non touch is not compatible, so get exact screen you have and match the pins. I was worried about the quality because the description doesnt say IPS, but when I messaged the seller, I got a reply next day and I went through with the order. I did not expect the package to come with tools, it's a great touch. The replacement screen is as good as my old screen that my kids broke. Ordered it Thursday, came via UPS by Monday. Took me only a couple minutes to install because I already took off the screen, just search for installation instructions on youtube. To remove the cable please see instructions first, do not pull it before unclipping it. If you need a replacement screen, I would highly recommend this seller without any hesitation!

Easy to install, took less than 25 minutes. I’d highly recommend you OPEN up your laptop before ordering or going online to review if yours is the 40 pin or 30 pin! Trust me, DO IT. It will save your time and effort. Also, you’ll see a nearly 2k HD one available online, it this one is not in 30-pin.

I upgraded the stock 768p panel on my ThinkPad T450 i5 with this 1080 matte panel. The new panel is so much brighter, has better resolution, and better viewing angles. In fact I generally leave the new screen at about 75% brightness whereas I always wished my old screen could be turned up even brighter than maximum. I’ve heard ThinkPads can have issues with non-Lenovo approved hardware (particularly running Windows), but my brightness adjustment, screen refresh rate, etc work well under Ubuntu Budgie Linux. The color seems fairly true to life compared to a higher end desktop monitor I have which is known to have good calibration from the factory. Mine also has no dead or lit pixels. Overall this has breathed new life into my older ThinkPad laptop so I feel great keeping it for a few more years.

Ordering and delivery went very well - super fast.Opened package, and it was basically a couple bubble-envelopes (large enough to fit the screen in) wrapped around the screen. The screen itself had a protective cover taped to it, which was nice - but beyond that it was pretty much tossed in those bubble envelopes. This led to one of the brackets where it is attached to the casing to have become bent. It was easy enough to bend it back to straight for the install, as they aren't very sturdy individually, but it's worth noting that there was potential for additional damage/flexing to the screen itself - just got lucky.Installation went quick and easy. There's no double-sided tape/adhesive with this screen, so it won't cling the snap-on bezel super tightly. doesn't affect usability, just a cleanliness of install/look.Screen works - no dead pixels. Re-calibrated color and display settings (they were a little different than original screen, diluted a bit). Been working fine ever since.

Item was defective in two ways and not representative of what was listed. The srcreen had two white spots on it, and the bottom of the panel would overheat to an extent that the glue on the bottom bezel will start to come off. DO NOT BUY! Complete scam!

Replaced our broken Lenovo screen flawlessly. Bright and clear, colors true. It even shipped with the tiny tools you'd use if you were bold enough to try to do the work yourself! (I didn't...)
