A lot of bad reviews here, some clarification is needed.Its small? Yes, Its for Lion fish. Its the right size to get even the biggest lion fish yet still fit into a zookeeper.The tips get blunt? If you tag a fish at full power with rock behind it, it will get blunt or the tips will bend. Straighten them, file sharp again, and consider not ramming it full power into rock next time.It dosn't fit your spear? It clearly states 6mm thread - more specifically its 6×1.25mm. 1.25 is a standard thread pitch. Check your spear first, if you have an 8mm thread you need an adapter, that's not the fault of the tip (Search: spearfishing 6mm to 8mm adapter).This is a nice tip, the prongs are welded (although not fully) so only bad handling will break a prong. Most of the poor reviews here seem to be due to bad handling or not knowing what was being purchased.I have 2 of these and change between them as needed. I file blunt prongs sharp when I get home, just like I file my knives.

Good for lion fish but nothing bigger the more points the less pressure on the tips which means less penetration

I wish the welding of the prongs was a little better.. have not used it yet.. but in my experience this type of barb works best for lion fish

This is made with very soft metal and bent after the first fish I tagged. That means a miss into anything but white sand results in quickly dulled tips. Aside from that it is great.
