I am writing this while divinng in Bonaire. I highly recommend having fin keepers while diving here because entry is often tricky with rocky bottoms and rolling waves, and having your hands free makes a huge difference. They simply work perfectly.

I usually use it for my fins. Only thing that’s a downside is it hangs while diving. So if your using it while frog kicking along the bottom it could cause an entanglement or stir up silt. But I tuck it in my strap after I don my fins so no biggie. All in all a great buy. 👌🏼

I bought this for a trip to Bonaire and it did its job keeping my hands free from holding my fins and masks while entering the ocean for a shore dive. Shore diving in Bonaire, you want to have your hands free since some of the entrances are not the easiest to get to.

this item is perfect for attaching your fins to your BCD while getting out of the water either onto a boat or shore diving. It's also great for hanging you fins for drying.

I hang both fins on this unit when shore diving...PROS: Works great, good quality, snap are not cheap.CONS: A little long, ... manufactures could shorten by 2 inches.
