Our compass consists of a clear, round, perspex window, 50m waterproof, suitable for deep water operation. With the elastic rope, it's easy to carry for you to wear on your wrist, put it on the back of your hand, or fix it on your body. Applicable to both northern and southern hemispheres.

A Large Bezel and a red lubber line printed on the window indicate your travel direction.

360° Rotating Bezel with direction and reciprocal index points, headings in 30° numbered increments, and indicator marks for every 5°.

You will read a lot of negative reviews but I think some people are to picky.During my work as a scuba instructor all my stuff has an extreme wear and tear. Every year I buy at least one compass. This compass has a difference of 5 degree, that's almost nothing under water. You have surge, one leg is stronger than the other, sometimes you have current and so on. You never make it back exactly to your starting point and that's not important. The compass is an aid and during the dive you have to take natural reference points to make sure you are on the right way and right spot. Also when you dive search patterns it's not important, the Objekt your looking for is a least like an anchor!The price is great, the ring stay's in position, everything is readable and works fine.But that's my opinion, if you have a different one that's fine!For me: 2👍up!

Fair warning: This is just a bad copy of the famous Suunto SK-8 divers compass. I didn't realize it at the time but after looking at other brands of dive compasses, I found it. I wasn't sure what to expect when I ordered this off-brand compass, but I did expect it to work reliably. I laid out my old faithful compass to see how much deviation there was from true north and to my surprise it was off by about 45 degrees. I gave it a little shake and set it down flat and it settled down to within about 5 degrees. I picked it up and moved around with it and it would stick. It absolutely must be set on a level surface. Do not expect this to be a wrist-held device. The print was a little too bold on the bezel and the edges seemed to blend in. 6's look like 8's and it takes a little bit longer to get your bearings. My compass also has air bubbles inside of it which may be the cause of some of the problems. The inner compass dial is excellent and the print is bold and clear. The quality of the build is just OK. The dial does glow but it quickly dims and I can't discern anything more than the North triangle. I am disappointed that I could not get such a simple device to work. In a nutshell, do not buy this if you need a dependable compass. It has far too many issues to be useful. It looks the part but performs like a cheap imitation. My advice is absolutely do not SCUBA dive with this.

This is just a basic compass for navigation. It is durable enough for my use. It is watertight. It is big enough to see without readers or with a mask on. It is easy to use and it is easily attached to dive gear. It is also ok for snorkeling, and keeping your bearings on water. It works fine for me.
