I work in construction and I dive so I use my weight belt a lot getting in and out of tight spots. After a couple of months the weights are already falling through the pouches in three of the five spots. The end started to fray and I've had to use my lighter to melt it a couple of times to keep it from running. But then again it wasn't the most expensive way belt and I figured it wasn't going to last this long so I guess for the money it was worth it.

I was tired of getting 'rental' belts either too small or worn out. I've used mine for over 40 dives, and still no significant signs of wear. Buckle holds tight, no corrosion.

The belt system on this is horrible in my opinion and I will have to rig something up for it to actually work. The pouches are nice but the belt is crap.

The webbing on the buckle side of the belt is smooth webbing like from a car seatbelt. The webbing on the non-buckle side (that gets put into the buckle and then the buckle clamps closed on it) is a rough and stiff webbing that the buckle gets good traction on and can clamp shut. The side of the belt that gets threaded through the buckle (like on a "D" ring), is too smooth and no matter how I threaded it would slip out. It has no friction against itself so when you double it over through the slots on the buckle it just slides through and out. It's kind of like they tried to use this nice comfortable supple webbing material on just the one side of the belt, and it won't hold.

Obviously, the people reviewing this belt and reporting the belt slipping, have no common sense or haven't watched the simple, attached video, demonstrating how to install the buckle to webbing. Some even sight great danger. What's dangerous is, a person that can't thread a buckle, trying something like free diving or scuba. Done properly, you will break the buckle or webbing before it slips. It will hold my entire weight (220 lb) wet or dry belt.

No major issues, have yet to take it in salt water. we will see how it holds up then. Straps and buckles do allow too much slippage, but that could be due to newness and needing breaking in.

Overall is a great product however the buckle on the thin strap is coming off, I'll have to add a extra clip or something else to avoid that issue. Great delivery times...
