I was looking for a full foot design, because I wanted to be able to wear them barefoot. I am size 11 and these felt a little loose, however they were not a problem to keep on my feet while walking backwards, duckdiving or swimming, even in rough water. While these can be wore with bare feet, I would not recommend it. I used thin dive socks and that worked fine. I am new to diving and this is my first pair of fins.

I free dive ~ typically in depths up to about 40 feet and these fins are perfect for that. My normal shoe size is about 11.5 or 12 in a running shoe and I've the large size is perfect when combined with a thin neoprene sock. I tried the super long fins that many free divers prefer and found them very limiting because they're just too long for maneuverability. If I were strictly going for just a straight down and up then maybe the super long fins would be Ok but for regular diving these fins are tops.

I got these on July 3rd and have swam with them everyday since for at least 30” of continuous swimming.The fins are very well made and should last a lifetime. They have a lot of snap and flexibility. The blade is curved downwardly which gives it a nice smooth powerful kick. For size my foot is a 10.5 and the large (marked 11-12) fits perfectly. No sock necessary nor will it fit. I had no break in blisters or red spots on my feet even after an hour of continuous kicking. Foot weld is perfect. Ive used Scubro Jet fins my entire life and still do. I consider them still to be the best fins made. These are a perfect warm water version of those. These are a full foot version just as shown in the photo. Thanks to amazon and Scubapro for great service and great fins.

Everything I have every purchased from Scubapro has been of the highest quality and durability standards. These fins are no different. They are very comfortable and provide great thrust force per foot stroke with minimal muscle cramping or localized foot fatigue.
