These clips are made from a durable feeling plastic that won't crack easily. They fit together well and there are exactly 20 pairs. They have two grooves on the inside which fit perfectly on my standard 48" x 18" wire shelf. However, the circumference is slightly off so there is a gap between the two clips. It still holds firmly in place though.
