Very useful and good quality. The plastic picks are a little too flimsy though but I just look at it as helping me not to get too aggressive cleaning. ;)

I bought a vintage 1976 Crosman model 1400 pneumatic .22cal. pellet rifle last winter for a bargain price because the outer steel barrel and under barrel pump tube were speckled with rust.The inner works of this AirGun had been restored & rebuilt prior to me buying it, and all I need to do is put the effort in and remove as much of the rust as possible, re-Blue any spots where the original gun blue treatment is wearing off.These copper and brass wire brushes help remove rust, without damaging much of the original Blued steel finish.The plastic hook tools helped get cleaning patches into little nooks & crevices, and now the job is more than half completed!I will definitely buy this kit again.

The brushes are great - I got them to clean areas for soldering but I find them useful for all kinds of things. Everyone is complaining about the picks - they do seem a little weak. I just stuck them in a junk drawer. Maybe they'll be useful for something. But back to the brushes! They're solid and I recommend them

The brass brush (small end) got the bristles folded over pretty badly when I tried to clean the chamber - probably my fault. The picks are great as there are plenty of small spaces in my frame and slide where using the pick with a patch is better than a patch by itself. The picks are a little more 'flimsy" at the ends, but that is because they are plastic and they can only be so strong at that diameter. Takes a little extra finesse at times because of that, but they still work really well.

This is a handy little kit, and it's nice getting 3 different brushes plus the picks together in one affordable set. I've seen the individual brushes at shows for 2 bucks each - that's a heck of a deal too, so getting all these for 6 bucks it just unbelievable. I like the double sided sets, it makes it easier to get into smaller areas with the smaller side. I do like the picks as well, but beware that these flex quite a bit ... last night they did remove the junk off the more detailed areas of my bolt just fine, but if you have really nasty baked on fouling you may want to add a metal dental pick to your toolbox.

I have a set of dentist picks my dental hygienist gave be some time back. I alway hesitated using the metal picks on my hand guns as I was concerned with scoring the metal or removing the protective coating, etc. With the plastic picks, the problem is solved. They work great in conjunction with the proper sized patches in getting to those hard to reach areas. I'm very picky when it comes to cleaning my guns and I don't want to leave any buildup if I can. The brushes also do a great job in cleaning some of the more reachable areas.I keep a set of picks in my range bag just in case I need them.

Bought this to clean my semi-auto pistols, Good reasonable value for money. Brushes all work fine and as expected. The picks are hardened plastic but a bit flimsy which is not all bad considering you don't want to scratch or damage anything.

As an enthusiast, I’m always looking for products that fit into the category of convenient/useful or just plain old fun. For this product, I think it fits well into both of my categories. Not only is it very useful, and it saved me a lot of pain by not having it, but is also been something that I found many other people have had an interest in.Let me start by addressing the physical properties and overall construction quality. Other products are made of similar materials but I think this particular product has a slight edge in quality. I’ve looked at quite of few other at gun shows and competitions, so I have a very good idea of what I wanted in a product of this type. So far I would say that the quality of the materials is of high enough quality that it is satisfied my need while still maintaining a price within the budget that I would spend.Along with the quality of materials comes the quality of construction. Once again, comparing this product to similar products on the market it appears that the quality of construction is above average. I must admit, though, that there are a couple parts – especially with the unique features of this product – them simply not sure whether it is a positive or negative. This may seem an odd statement, especially from someone trying to give a fair review to the product itself, but what I’m saying is that if a product is on the leading edge of production or design it may often have a particular feature which is different from other products. In this case, I think one of those features is how it interacts with the gun itself. So far I would say that fit is very good in the part of the reason is the quality of materials.While on the topic of materials and fit let me say that it is important to have something that can be easily mounted on the rifle or handgun and can be just as easily removed. This is that type of good. In addition, it does the job designed but I believe does it at a much higher level than other products in the same price range.Let me close my comments by inserting the legal claims required by Amazon. I received this product at a reduced price in exchange for a promise to provide an honest and unbiased opinion. To provide that opinion I have used the product extensively over the past several weeks or months, and I’ve used the product as it was designed to be used. In this case, the product has been put through an above average usage – meaning used in conjunction with high fire rate or lots of usages probably a bit higher than normal. Great for cleaning pistols and certain parts of my AR-15. gets into the small parts where a cloth can't reach. picks are plastic, and they work okay, but not great for getting fouling out of many of the AR parts - still need my AR specific kit for that.

Well built and does what you need it to. I used the pack all summer long with no issues and it performed up to my expectations. I use these brushes and picks to clean rifles, shotguns, and pistols and they do a great job all around.

great addition to your cleaning kit if you have one, YES the hooks are plastic (if you have a good eye you can tell by the picture) brushes work great, hooks are good just remember they are plastic (since you wouldn't use metal on your firearms and risk scratching or wearing them) I give it a 5 star for the cheap price and fast delivery along with my Remington cleaning kit I bought separately on this site.
