The head is loose. The ball is uneven and has swirl ridges on it that prevent metal shaping. I bought this to peen pins and the deformed head won't do it. Absolutely junk and say loudly, DO NOT BUY.

Just the right weight for upsizing rings (with the help of a mandrel). Good for more delicate type work.

The hammer handle was sticky, and the head was loose

I use this as a handled ball punch with a mild steel hammer in the blacksmith shop. Seems to stand up well so far and makes a clean depression.

It's cheap....and it's cheap. I read a bunch of these reviews...these 4 things ring TRUE:1. It is very inexpensive2. The head is not machined well and DEFINITELY NOT like the picture3. The head will likely be loose...it was on mine4. It's really inexpensive, the head can be tightened up. If you don't need a precision tool...It's fine.Add a wedge, soak the head so the wood inside the head expands...were some good suggestions from other reviewers. I used a nail set and hammered the wedge in deeper, ground the wood end down a bit and filled the space with epoxy. The head is now tight and I'll keep my cheap, cheap little hammer.

A very good tool, well manufactured and it is excellent for small riveting jobs. Reasonably priced.

When received, handed had residue with some kind of dirt attached. Head of the hammer was loose because the wood inside was split. Also there is a chip in the handle. Without it being cracked, this size would have been good for small tasks.

It's not the best, but it works. It's not the most comfortable to use or the hardest hitting but for something that will sit on my bench and be used for small roll pins I can't complain. It does it's job and does it well.

I am very happy with this hammer. I live alone and just needed something to pound with for minor repairs and this does the job, without costing a lot. Thank you.
