Action was great, but note the lure is very big and heavy. When I was casting, it did snap my line which was like at least 15 lb mono. So if you buy it and plan to use it, make sure you have heavy line and strong rod. Also, if you are casting from shore etc, I’d recommend something smaller, like the kastmaster spoon in like 1/2 ounce etc. this lure would be best with a boat for pretty big fish with heavy gear. Too bad I lost it, but the action was good with a swivel snap.

Esta muy bien... da buenos lances por el peso de las 3 ok. Saque una distancia superior a los 70 m con una caña de 10’’ Y un mono filamento de 20 lbs

Use these to catch some big game fish. Gotta have 4 or 5 back ups. They don't rust like the cheaper imitation spoons.

It launches far and i use it to take my teaser fly far out as well. The 3 oz works well even in weak current if you bounce it around. The downside is it doesnt come with a split ring in the front and the metal is too thick for most paperclip fast connect type hardware so i use a nonslip knot as a direct tie will kill the swimming action. It works best for bluefish at night as it provides a lot of disturbance in the water and bluefish loves shiny metal lures. There's not a lot of heavyweight lures that is versatile in all currents, this one works well in a lot of situations.

The first weekend I used these, I had 2 taken away by big fish that I couldn't handle. Wading to the first sandbar and casting between the 2nd and 3rd sandbar gave excellent results. They cast a long way, even into a headwind. They are heavy and thick, and their action seems to make a big pulsating vibration in the water. This is my go-to lure now, especially when the winds are in my face and nothing else will cast.I missed a lot of hookups, then examined the hooks. They are a bit dull, so I sharpened them up, we'll see what happens this weekend.
