Don't know if Amazon shipped the wrong part but this is a 5/8 through hull, not 3/4, and is not acceptable for a bilge pump.

The interior size of the tube is just a tiny bit smaller than the original fitting, which makes the rubber plug a tiny bit too big. I corrected that. Also, the outer piece has a poor way of holding it or turning it for installation. But, I managed to get it installed.If there had been a special wrench for fitting the notch in the plastic, I would have bought it.

I had to redo the plumbing on my bass boats two live wells due to age and these fittings worked perfect for that.

Fitting worked fine, but the sizing is incorrect. This replaced an old US fitting and the nozzle was smaller and the threaded thru part was larger than the older one. I had to enlarge the hole with a step drill and the nozzle still worked on a 3/4" hose when tightened. Not a hard fix if you have the tools.
