Got a down rigger from my dad as I just moved to Duluth to fish Lake Superior and it was missing the base plate, no big deal right. Just a piece of plastic. Why does this cost 40$? Absolutely absurd. Yeah it fits, it is the exact base for my model, but holy crap.

Did not come with mounting nuts. Screws but no nuts.

Does not fit very well, too much play even when screwed on properly.I thought my downrigger was screwed in and wound up losing it and my tackle. Probably user error.I made sure the 2nd one was screwed in properly, but had to abandon using it because there was so much play.Not recommended.
