This Sealight trailer jack I installed on 5x10 utility trailer used for hauling IBC water tote. It installed easily direct replacement. Operates slowly but without strain. The up down toggle switch seems counter intuitive depending on how you look at it. When you press the toggle up the deck goes down therefor raising the trailer. ( press button on direction you want the trailer tongue to go) Pinned adjustable foot for additional hight if necessary. Comeswith manual crank but lacks handle storage. I have it zip tied to the jack so I don't loose it. This is rated for a much heavier and I don't question that. Perfectly fine for smaller trailers but I did not test it at full capacity. Forwardfacing utility light ( 4 LEDs) is a nice idea but not well implemented. Not very bright or directed well. Good for the price.

This review is strictly for Amazon customer service. I received this item on or about March 20, 2025. Right away, I noticed the shipping carton had a large hole on the side and two corners were collapsed where it had been dropped at least twice. Inside, the box contained quite a bit of dirt, which meant it had been dropped on the dirt. The cover on the jack's head was cracked from front to back. The control panel was detached from the cover. There was nothing protecting the main unit in the shipping box.I called customer and spoke to a lady names Roselyn. She was very helpful and took my report telling me they would contact me on the following Monday after the issue was reviewed. Monday came and a customer service REP called. Don't know if it was Roselyn, but she was just as helpful.I also placed a call to Sea Light customer service. The REP took my report and told me that they would call me back on Monday. Monday came and I did not get a call. I waited till the next day and called Sea LIght again. The REP seemed to be familiar with my case and immediately told me that the had sent me an e-mail. I told him that Ihad received no such e-mail. He told me to check my spam mail and again I told him I had nothing. He insisted that they had sent an email. I then asked him to read me the e-mail and he then said that he would forward my issue and tha someone would call me later on the same day. No phone call as of yet. They lied and ran for cover.Amazon agreed to replace the item without any hassle. I received a new jack and have installed it. It seems to be working fine. I might add that the jack was packed very well in its box.Amazon was willing to take up my issue seriously. They followed up throughout the entire process. Again. this rating is solely for Amazon. Sea Light gets a big goose egg. Zero, Zip. Nada.

Could be the best thing ever on the market but it lacks one thing like alot of items now days, it lacks toughness strength and grit in the materials used to build the jack, thin metal and plastics along with the craftsman ship is what's killing the future!

Only 1 star cause I had to. This product sucks. We were sleeping and it raised the camper all by itself. Snapped one of the scissor jacks in the rear of the camper. I do not recommend. I have a video but choose not to share.

My 20' covered trailer came with a standard hand crank tongue jack, which would have been fine if the trailer didn't weigh so much when loaded. Trying to hand-crank a tongue jack on this trailer was brutal when fully loaded, so when I saw this SEALIGHT 7500LB Electric Trailer Jack, Electric Power Tongue Jack, I could not wait to get it and try it out. The main issue was having to install a larger battery to handle the increase in amps needed as I only had a battery break-away installed. Once I got a larger battery, I installed this new jack, it fit perfectly in place of the hand jack. I wired it up and voila, it worked perfect! Oh this has made a world of difference!! You will not be disappointed, as this seems like a well made trailer jack, and it has no problem lifting the trailer when loaded. I love it!
