Great for the price. The threads are only slightly thicker than hose end. Fit through opening without issue. Very beefy nut as well compared to some others.

local store only had a 3/4'' fitting so had to get one from here but was as described and got the job done may have been a little pricey but was delivered fast and just in time before a big rain fall so saved me haha

We used these on a boat for the live well tanks. We had been every where trying to find the parts for these live wells, should of look on amazon first! Worked great!

I use these to make catchment rain barrels from old T shirts and $9 Home Depot Rubber Maid trash cans. I invert the lid and with this fitting in the center of the lid provides a transition between the lid and a bag filter.Also they make a neat way to couple two or twenty cans so each one when full fills the next one. I use pvc tubing between fittings to make the water tight transition.
