Rubber holding straps for the motor and to the trailer are too short to use. This unit is the second one I've ordered. I found another longer strap for the motor on my own but not for the trailer. I must have hit a bump as the support came off the trailer and dragged on the ground. Fortunately, only the support was damaged not my trailer or motor.

I spent nearly $100 on my last support and this one has almost all the same features as that for less than $40.00! Doesn't have the spring inside the shaft to help attenuate rough roads and bouncing but great product.

I saw a comment saying that this shouldn't be used for bigger motors. This product is nice and very strong. I put it on my 150 hp outboard. It will support any large outboard motor and all the way down to a small motor. Definitely a good product for the price!

Very nice motor prop, particularly for the money! I have a new aftermarket trim/lift on my vintage boat with it's vintage Mercury 50hp. This prop holds the motor securely, and unlike so many of these, it can be made to be quite long! That was important for me to utilize the rear cross member of the trailer as a mount.

I purchased item for an 1977 Crestliner that has a 155hp evinrude motor on it. I was very unsure how this product would hold to the weight of the motor bouncing while driving donw some of these roads in Colorado. To my supprise it holds up pretty well. I drove to a lake out here that was almost a 2 hour drive one way and it had held up very well. i gave it a 4 star because there were some slight flaws that have not been a major issue but a concern for safety if this product were to fail. One issues is the bungee cord that helps secure it to your bottome roller fells a little sloppy. The other issue is the bungee cord that goes around the motor that it came with pretty much sawed in half so the best solution for right now is have some spare bungee cords in your boad or vehicle incase this happens while on the road.
