Orb Kit-Add Helm/Autopilot I/B
These fittings fit updated Seastar cylinders and all helm pump to use O-Ring (ORB) type fittings. Before the update all Seastar Solutions helms used NPT fittings. These 316 stainless steel fittings will simplify the installation process and will allow for simple reorientation of fittings after installation. New ORB type helms are clearly marked with "DO NOT USE NPT Fitting". Cylinder Part Numbers ending in "-3" are the new updated cylinder models that use these ORB fittings.

Purchased this kit to complete our autopilot install for the compression fittings and the other pieces included. Ended up using almost all of the parts in this kit and they fit like a glove. No leaks or issues at all after over a month of commercial charter fishing!

Compression fittings work as expected, but find it interesting SeaStar/Teleflex recommends their fittings "for working-pressure ratings of 1000PSI", yet their Tees are only common 200PSI type brass fittings. I can get better (300-400PSI) fittings from my industrial supply houses, cheaper. The only fitting I needed was the specialized ORB; everything else is less than half-price elsewhere. Fortunately I could fit the straight ORBs under my helm, because original were 90's.
