Just got back from my first dive trip with these. It appears they missed the stitching on the top of the foot. Unfortunately I'm outside Amazon return window and can't get them replaced. Bummer. The other 3 pairs in the family seem to be holding up ok.

Bought these for my husband to metal detect at the beach in the colder months. He said they were comfortable and did a good job of keeping sand and water off his feet. Soles are sturdy but flexible. Like wearing tennis shoes on the beach but better.

I had to get these they look like Vans come on !i figured I could send them back if not great but I really like them really comfortable and feel a load more steady than your average water shoe. As far as diving and fins I would skip as the toe is wider than booties but rocky beach and especially the river they are awesome ! really comfortable to rock hop in. They don't weigh as much as say vans or regular shoes and are nicer and dare I say cooler than moms Walmart water shoes. Dry quick haven't rubbed in weird places and have held together great through a high use summer in the water 3 days a week at least. Size was spot on for my size 8 feet.I will definitely buy again if I need but these are really well made will tell my friends too.

I've tried number of water shoes, including dive and paddle shoes - cheap, expensive top of the line - tried them all. Problem for me was that I either could not tolerate tightness of most shoes or not even be able to put them on (mostly above ankle shoes). While many provide 5-7mm thickness and could provide better protection than this pair, I still ended up keeping these.Pros - flat bottom provides you with a feel as if you are wearing your regular shoes. Plenty of room inside and it does not hurt your foot after some time wearing (like most dive shoes would). Tall above ankle neoprene wraps around your leg tightly enough to keep the water out. You could wear with a thicker sock. True to size. Lastly, design pattern stands out.Cons - shoe sole is too thin and you will feel every imperfection of the outsole. It particular there is some small round "bump" closer to the tip of the shoe. Easily solved with either wearing a sock or getting extra water proof sole.

I bought these for an upcoming trip to Bonaire. Since we'll be doing mostly shore dives I thought these would be just what i needed. I tested them out last night in a pool and today on a shore dive here at home. The soles are perfect for walking on a rocky bottom. They look like Vans or Sperry soles, but they're more pliable. I thought they'd feel bulky in my fins, but they don't. They fit and feel great. I wear a 10 1/2 shoe so I bought a size 10 since they don't have half sizes and they fit perfectly. The zippers stayed up for my entire dive without any issues. They seem well made. I'd definitely recommend these dive boots and I'd buy them again.

I have used these dive boots for about 30 dives in warm tropical water. The fit was spot-on; I wear men’s 9 street shoes, ordered size 9, and they fit perfectly. In the past I’ve had issues with getting blisters on an extended dive trip, but not with these booties. They look great - I got a few compliments on them. I took one star off for very minor quality issues - after a few dives the glue holding the rubber upper to the neoprene was peaking out from under the rubber slightly, and the neoprene itself seemed a little thin but it looks like it is holding up well. Overall — looks cool, easy donning and doffing, super comfortable in the water and hauling your gear off the boat through the sand... I’d definitely buy them again.

I really like these boots. They provide good thermal and physical protection at least for tropical and subtropical water. Very comfortable in walking either on dry land or in the water. They provide adequate traction for wet surface. If you dive or snorkel with open fins, they are great diving boots. Unlike other diving boots, which will force you to use larger size fins. Also some diving boots are not really comfortable when walking on dry land. But not this one. BTW, they looks good, (mine is blue) and the price is more than reasonable. IF your shore diving entry/exist is from rocks, or sharp reefs, then you need special boots with heavy sole and side protection. Of course, hiking boots offer great protection, but you won't use them for daily walk. Also the quality seems very good. I highly recommended these.
