Powerful with a long cord and I love the handheld feature for doing the stairs. My only complaint so far is it’s super heavy and I wish the carpet height dial was either on the handle or could be controlled with a foot like my Miele vacuum. Still very happy with the purchase!

I love the power and ease of this machine. One thing to watch for though is hair wrapping around the brush roll.

Recently picked up a Dart after returning a K3 which I didn’t like at all. The Dart is fantastic. Built like a tank. I demoed the Felix, and normally the swivel would be a benefit, but due to the somewhat odd weight distribution (up high) of the Felix and Dart, I found the swivel was actually a minus—a typical upright with weight in the base would be better with a swivel but the Sebos carry weight up high. Therefore I opted for the Dart model. Easier to handle with the rigid power head. The K3 hose was like wrestling a Python in my hallways, quickly returned that one despite liking canisters. The only Felix feature I would like to have is the adjustable handle. Not worth giving up the fixed head to get it, though, and be stuck with the swivel.Currently researching how to order Felix handle parts to convert my Dart. If Sebo made the Felix with a rigid power head or a Dart with adjustable handle, they’d have the perfect upright. Maybe offer a Dart handle upgrade kit. As it is, you either have to suffer with the swivel head or fixed handle, no the handle is the lesser of two evils. What I should have done, in hindsight, is buy a Felix and remove the swivel joint and replace it with the rigid Dart joint for $50. That’s what the necks cost. Will probably cost me twice that in parts to add the extending handle. Didn’t figure this out before purchase, sadly.

This is a high quality, well-made vacuum. Suction is great. Leaves medium-height carpet looking perfect. The height adjustment works nicely and doesn't feel cheap like other vacs I've had. Couple small things: the bags aren't very thick, compared to the Miele bags I was used to. And there's no HEPA filtration, so dust is likely getting into the air to a certain degree more than it should for my liking. Closing the canister lid after inserting the vacuum bag is difficult. On my unit you really have to push down quite hard to get it to click-lock into place. There's barely any play in it, so I wonder if at some point I won't be able to click it shut. Lots of rubbery, chemical smells when I first started up the vacuum, which I hope will dissipate over time when it's done off-gassing. The power cord is quite thin, but it seems decent quality. I had a Hoover Hushtone before this, tried it once, and then sent it back. This Sebo Dart is in a different league. However, the Hushtone had great HEPA filtration. This Dart needs better quality bags, and a HEPA filter, and I'd give it 5 stars for $499. I just ordered 8 Felix bags, and I'll see if they are higher quality.

The things that make this vacuum the best we've ever owned are the removable brush roller (makes cutting out pet hair easy), and hidden drive belt (pet hair doesn't get tangled in it). Add the maneuverability and light weight, and this is easily worth the money!
