Perfect for making little anti- wild animal cages for outdoor plants. Most wire meshes either have too big a hole, or are stiff to unwind and deal with and wind back up when you're trying to cut them. This mesh has the right sized holes to keep, so far, squirrels, birds and raccoons away from the crop, but is easy to unfold and cut, and make things out of. I will be buying this from now on as well as the stiffer hardware cloth I have always used just because it does the job and is easier to deal with and easier to store, and (I think) costs less. Hardware cloth still has it place but for the smaller projects (raised bed garden and individual plant protection) this is better.

Fair price for a mesh size that no one local seems to want to carry. Used for a worm bin sifter. One problem with this application is that a very small % of the worms are hurt. The setup is a small wood box frame with the mesh, on non-swivel casters in another box frame with rails - slid back and forth 50+ times. Good excercise but once in a while a worm or two will end up snaking through several holes which can be safely, carefully freed and other times is in the bottom collection bin a shorter version of themselves and that really sucks.Even though this is a result of the product it is because of the application and not a fault so it is still 5 ☆ and I would buy again/recommend.

I couldn't find this 1/8 inch hardware cloth at Home Depot or Lowe's, so found it on Amazon, of course. Seems of good quality and fit my needs for making a horizontal beehive with a screened bottom. The holes in the cloth have to be small enough so the bees can't go through it.

Very easy to cut with a sharp box cutter. But do wear gloves as the cut wires are sharp. I’ve had problems with critters digging up my plants and eating seedlings. This was a simple and inexpensive way to secure my plants against squirrels and chipmunks. The quality is great, no loose wires and the gapping is sufficient. This even keeps the damn beetles from eating my plants. I do use a fabric mesh net for the top. Plants get expensive but this keeps those costs down. Plus you can reuse the wire for the same planter pots for next season.

I use this 1/8 inch Hardware Cloth for sifting all of the dirt that we use in our garden and greenhouse. We needed finer dirt than 1/4" especially for carrots. Nobody in town stocks this 1/8" mesh. I also use it for sifting glacial flour. Our glaciers have been leaving their glacial flower behind as they say goodby to us for thousands of years. Its nice to live near a glacier so I can touch it when I want to, before it is gone forever. It is everywhere in Alaska and probably Canada, The Yukon and The Northwest Territories. The Glacial Flour is a little rough on this hardware cloth but I knew that ahead, its like fine powered diamonds. I recommend buying the 25' length if you are going to use it like I do.

I had a few strands that weren’t welded good but overall it’s good stuff. This is the size you need for beekeeping
