I wanted a bike lock to lock up the bikes when they are on the car bike rack. We often go to stores/restaurants after biking and it’s much easier to secure the bikes to the car than to try to find close bike racks and load/unload multiple times. This lock and 10 foot chain is perfect to reach down to secure to my car’s hitch. I love that the chain is enclosed inside the flexible plastic so that it won’t scratch the bikes or the car.
