I'm honestly surprised that this style of hard drive based security system with hard wired cameras is still around. I was pretty frustrated with this system setup as you do have to run the wires for the camera. Affected at least with a wired setup that the video quality would be exceptional but it's no better than the system that I had 15 years ago. In addition the ai human detection does not work well at all. It did not detect actual humans and when it did detect motion there was nothing on screen. Unless you're just really hard up for a security system and want a hard drive based model and wired cameras I would look elsewhere

Installation is difficult, quality is just OK, overall there are better options out there.

These are wired cameras meaning setup is more involved. You get 4 cameras and the device can use up to 8. It includes a 1TB HDD that can be upgraded. Once setup you can access the cameras via your phone or you can also look attach a monitor to the system unit and see live or recorded video directly from the source. Very happy with these cameras and would definitely recommend!

..... if you're willing to run a lot of wires. I didn't realize until too late that they aren't wireless, so these would be a *lot* of hassle for me. I do believe they are great cameras for anyone willing to do the work.
